IMPRONTE DIGITALI DELLE ARCATE DENTALI
LDigital impressions of the dental arches are the digital evolution of the traditional dental imprints. It consists of virtual imprints detected by an optical reader called intraoral scanner. The imprints are taken in only a few minutes without the use of any kind of material. They are much more comfortable for the patient than the traditional imprints and make it possible for the dentist to save time, space and material. In this way we obtain a file which can be used to:
- produce all kinds of prostheses with CAD/CAM technology
- produce surgical guides for implantology
- produce gnatological bites
- produce orthodontic splints
- produce templates for indirect bonding
- produce splints for maxillofacial surgery
- generate digital socked models for archiviation
generate solid models through a 3D printer
